DESCRIPTION
::::
I
was hired by Rexall as an onsite subcontractor to art direct
the MET-Rx.com redesign.
ROLE
::::
Art
Director, lead designer.
OVERVIEW
::::
This
was my first onsite project in almost two years.
Felt a little strange working from 8 to 6 again, after working
my own hours, but the MET-Rx gig was a great opportunity to
work on a solid consumer product, and the steady hours didn't
hurt during a slow summer. Strange things do tend to happen
to large corporations, I work for just over 3 months, by the
time my contract ends, the MET-Rx project is looking like
an internal success, with a launch scheduled within the following
weeks after my departure. And then... Rexall got bought, by
Nature's Bounty. Now the MET-Rx project, which Rexall had
already invested well over $100,000, hangs in limbo.
