An artful look at World War Z.

i09.com posted Daniel LuVisi's conceptual rendering of a pivotal moment from the novel World War Z by Max Brooks. (soon to be a feature film helmed by Marc Forster who had previously directed the Quantum of Solace) i09 posted a great interview with LuVisi, I guess he submitted this artwork to try to get a gig on the film project. All I know is this painting kicks serious zombie puss-filled ass. And the film project is promising, because I listened to WWZ on a road trip and it's entertaining zombie porn and I'm up for a hot zombie gore-fest. The story actually has some deeper social commentary on politics and international government, take it in if you dig on the undead.

We need some more Zombie movies. Looking forward to this as well. There are just not enough of these friggin movies out there. Don't the powers that be know the apocalypse is coming and hell will reign on Earht. This is one of the many scenarios that we need to be prepared for....the walking dead wreaking havoc on our mundane lives! Stock up on canned foods and ammo baby! Its coming!

I'm all for a zombie apocalypse, beats the end of the world scenario of "The Road" — that's too much reality, I'd rather have the end come in the form of the dead rising from the grave, at least that's a perfectly good reason for things being shitty.
