Spent my first 2 years working at an ad
agency right outta school. Started out as a production artist,
soon after I worked my way as a junior art director designing collateral
for Sony Latin America. In Spring of 97' I took the proverbial plunged
into the world wide year two kay stock option dot bomb and took
a job working for an online publisher, InterZine,
which produced a number of alternative sports portals. One of them
being Snowboarding
Online (SOL). I worked as the art director for SOL and used
the InterZine gig as a springboard to relocation madness. Moved
the family (at the time just my wife and daughter #1) to Boston,
MA. Worked close to 2 years there as a senior designer for an interactive
division of Ingalls Advertising. In July of 1999, we moved again,
and back to Florida we were. This time I decided to go with a medium
sized web development firm in Deerfield Beach called Fusive.com.
I started as an art director there, then became a senior art director.
In April of 2001, I experienced my very own Dot.Bomb, and got the
pink slip and 6 weeks sevys. From there, I took the Sony
Latin America account and started Sichon
Design.
 
I'm
a designer. Interactive mostly, but I've done print advertising,
collateral, identity work, some other stuff. If its got anything
to do with making something look good, I think I can help.
I'm a freelance consultant for the most part, I fill holes for other
consultants, agencies, companies. I can be utilized as a direct
design resource, for your team, or you can depend on me to sort
out what your needs are and facilitate them into action. I have
a steady resource of well-trained professionals at my disposal,
so whatever the task may be, you can be sure I'm on it, and my
only goal is to make you look good.

I'm a Thai American. But I so do not look Asian at all. My father
is half Thai, half Indian, and my mom is Thai. (Now she looks totally
Asian, my pops looks more middle eastern) If you didn't know me,
you might think I'm Samoan or some sumtin.

Man I can cook. My parents owned a Thai Restaurant for 18 years,
I worked there from when I was 14 til 21. Emeril ain't got nothing
